Simply by hosting a morning tea with your friends, family or work colleagues, you will be directly helping to raise funds for support services for patients and families and building a cancer smart community in the NT.
All you need to do is relax and have fun together; your guests can make a donation while enjoying their favourite cuppa. It couldn't be easier. Remember, every cup counts!
The best thing about hosting a morning tea is you can do it absolutely anywhere:
- at work with your colleagues and customers
- at home with friends or neighbours coming over for a cuppa – why not ask them to bring a plate?
- at your social or sporting club ask people to bake some treats for your usual break
- cafes, hotels and restaurants can organise a special event, or donate all or part of their drink sales
