The Cancer Council NT is a 27-year-old non-government, charitable, community based organisation commmitted to raising funds for the purpose of reducing the impact of cancer. It achieves this by providing information and support for people affected by cancer. Our public education programs are conducted to increase awareness and prevention of cancer. As a not-for-profit organisation we rely on the generosity of the community for support such as donations and fundraising, as well as a volunteer base to assist in many ways.
