One in two men will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85- it could be you, or it could be your best mate.
Wearing a yellow armband in Call To Arms could help save your best mate from hearing the words ‘you have cancer.'
The donations from your yellow armband will help prevent, detect, and treat cancers in men and support men in need by funding The Cancer Council's important cancer research, education and support programs.
The campaign will consist of two components; fundraising and awareness activities at the Essendon v Western Bulldogs match on 13 February 2009 and a community football Call to Arms event over the same weekend.
We are therefore seeking your assistance as a local football club to get on board with this event and raise money over the weekend 13-15 February 2009 through all of your grades.
Register for Call To Arms now, and your local sporting club will help save the lives of men in the Territory.
